# Content

> Opportunities, briefs and articles — how to turn the prompts you lose into pages assistants cite.

The **Content** section (in the menu, under **Actions**) helps you write the pages that are missing. It has two
pages: **Opportunities & Briefs** and **Articles**. It is not included in the trial; the number of articles depends on
your plan.

## Opportunities

The **Opportunities** tab sorts prompts by how weakly you are covered, with:

- **Brand coverage** — how often answers name you;
- **Own-domain citations** — how often your site is cited;
- **Domains AI cites instead** — where the citations you don't get go.

On a prompt, **Create brief** prepares a brief for the page that would answer it.

## Briefs

A brief is the plan of the page, written to be cited by assistants:

- the **answer hook** — one or two sentences that answer the question directly, written to be quoted word for word;
- the page **structure**, the questions it must answer and the concepts that must appear;
- what kind of site assistants cite for this prompt;
- the suggested **internal links** and the competitor page you need to beat.

Briefs take the brand's **Content profile** (audience, tone) into account. You can copy them as Markdown or generate
the article directly (**Generate article**).

## Articles

**Write article** generates an article without a brief, starting from a topic:

- **Topic**, **Target keywords** (up to 10) and, optionally, an existing prompt to start from;
- **Content type** (article, blog, listicle, comparison, landing page) and **Length**;
- **Custom instructions** and up to 3 **Reference URLs**;
- **Enhancements**: an FAQ section, a comparison table, links to authoritative sources, a call to action.

You can edit the article (title, meta description, body in Markdown), copy it as Markdown or view it as HTML
(**View HTML**), ready to put on your site. **Mark final** takes it out of drafts.

## What to check before publishing

A generated article is a starting point. Check the numbers, prices and claims about your products, add what only you
know (experience, your own data, examples) and put it on a page AI crawlers can read (see
[AI traffic → Pages](https://survelium.com/docs/ai-traffic/pages.md)). Then follow the prompt on the Prompts page.
