Measure / Citations and sources
Find out which pages AI reads when it recommends your competitors.
AI answers lean on a handful of sources: company sites, reviews, directories and top lists. Survelium shows which pages each answer cited, how often your site is among them, and which sources your competitors win with.

What you lose when AI does not cite you.
Without Survelium
- AI cites your competitor's site and the reviews about them, not your pages.
- The directories and top lists AI relies on do not mention you at all.
- You publish content without knowing whether AI ever reads it.
- You do not know which page you are missing to get into the answer.
With Survelium
- You see every page each answer cited, yours included.
- You compare how often you are cited with your top competitor, question by question.
- You find the outside sites that shape the answers and leave you out.
- You know which pages to write or improve first.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
What does it mean that AI cites a source?
Many AI answers come with links to the pages they used. Those links are the citations: they show which sites the assistant trusted for that answer.
Do all assistants give links?
Most do: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode show their sources. Claude answers from what it already knows, without links.
How do I get cited?
Pages that answer the question directly, comparisons and clear facts are cited more often, and so are brands listed on the sites AI already trusts. Recommendations and Content turn these findings into concrete steps.
Do pages written by others about me count?
Yes, and they often weigh more than your own site. That is why Survelium also shows the outside sources that cite your competitors and not you.
How fast does a new page show up in citations?
It depends on how quickly each assistant reads it, usually from a few days to a few weeks. You see the change in the daily figures, and AI traffic shows when AI crawlers visit the page.
