Billing and plans
The trial, plans and their limits, who manages the subscription, payment, invoices, changing and canceling your subscription.
The subscription belongs to the workspace, not to your account. The workspace's Billing page shows the plan, limits, usage and invoices. From My settings → Billing you reach the billing of every workspace you own.
Who manages the subscription
Every member sees the Billing page: the plan, limits, usage and invoices. Only the workspace owner chooses, changes or cancels the subscription and edits Billing details and the Payment method. For a member, the buttons are missing or the form is locked, with the message "Only the workspace owner can change the subscription." See Roles.
Trial
Every new workspace starts with a trial:
- 1 brand and at most 15 prompts, checked daily on all AI models;
- a quota of responses, not an expiry date — the Trial responses counter on the Billing page shows how many you have used (one response = one prompt asked to one model);
- Recommendations are included;
- direct competitors are not limited and the whole history is visible;
- the Content section is not included.
When the quota is almost used up you get an email; when it runs out, Trial used up appears, checks stop and you choose a plan to continue. The data collected so far stays. An account can start only one trial.
What a plan limits
On the Billing page, each plan shows its limits:
| Limit | What it means |
|---|---|
| AI questions tracked | the active prompts across the whole workspace; paused ones don't count |
| Brands | how many brands the workspace has |
| Check frequency | how often checks run |
| Platforms | how many AI models are asked |
| Sampling depth | how many times each prompt is asked to each model in one check (see How we collect data) |
| Competitors per brand | how many direct competitors each brand can have; the others don't count |
| AI reports | whether the Recommendations page is included |
| Visible history | how far back the brand pages see (see below) |
When you hit a limit, the app tells you which limit it is and suggests a bigger plan. Data already collected is not lost. The number of articles in Content also depends on the plan. AI traffic and the number of members are not limited by plan.
Freed slots
A prompt you pause or delete, and a brand you delete, keeps its slot in the plan until the next month of the subscription (on an annual subscription, still monthly, not at the yearly renewal). This way the limit can't be dodged by swapping prompts around. Exception: a prompt added by mistake and deleted the same day, before it ever ran, frees its slot at once. During the trial, slots free up at once.
The Prompts page shows how many slots are still held and when the first one frees up.
Visible history
A plan with a limited Visible history doesn't show data older than that many days on the brand pages, in comparisons and in PDF reports. Nothing is deleted: with a bigger plan, the older answers show again. The comparison with the previous period can come out without a number when that period falls outside the visible history.
Payment
- Prices are in lei (RON), VAT included. The euro price next to it is approximate.
- You pay by card. Annual costs as much as 11 months.
- Payment method (the owner, once subscribed) opens the Stripe payment portal, where you change your card.
- Payment happens on a secure payment page; Survelium does not see or store your card details.
- Billing details: you choose a Customer type (Company or Individual), and for a company the tax ID (CUI) and company details. For now we only invoice customers in Romania.
- Billing email: if you fill it in, invoices and payment emails go there; other subscription emails go to the owner.
Invoices
For every payment we issue a Romanian fiscal invoice; for a refund, a credit note. You find them in Billing → Invoices, with Download PDF. A new invoice appears a few minutes after payment (until then: "Invoice is being generated.").
Changing your plan
Scale your subscription → choose the plan. The change happens immediately, and the difference is prorated over the remaining days. For a smaller plan, first reduce your brands, active prompts and each brand's direct competitors to its limits. Slots still held by deleted or paused prompts and brands count too.
Canceling
Cancel subscription stops renewal. You keep access until the end of the paid period ("Access ends …") and can come back at any time until then with Resume.
When a payment fails
- The subscription becomes Past due and Payment failed appears; the owner gets an email.
- You keep full access for 10 more days from the first failed payment.
- After 10 days, checks stop until you pay, and AI traffic no longer receives data from your site.
- If the subscription closes, Subscription expired appears. Your data stays; you find it again when you reactivate.
The owner gets an Update payment method button in the banner, which opens the payment portal where you change your card; the failed-payment email has the same link.
