Workspace and team

What a workspace is, how to invite teammates, the Owner and Member roles, transferring ownership.

A workspace groups brands, the team and the subscription. All members of a workspace see the same brands and the same numbers. Its page addresses start with the workspace's short name, for example /my-company/.

Several workspaces

If you are part of several workspaces (for example your own and a client's), switch between them from the menu at the top of the left sidebar (Your workspaces). Survelium remembers the last workspace and the last brand you opened.

Invite a teammate

Team (at the bottom of the menu) โ†’ Invite a teammate โ†’ email address โ†’ Send invitation.

  • Your teammate gets an email with the acceptance link, valid for 7 days.
  • If they don't have an account, they create one from the link (first name, last name, password); the address is already confirmed. If they have an account, they log in and the invitation is accepted automatically.
  • The invitation only works for the address it was sent to.
  • Invited people join as Member.

Under Pending invitations you see when each invitation expires, and you can Revoke it.

Transferring ownership

In the member list, next to the teammate taking over: Transfer ownership. You become a Member, they become the Owner. The owner can't leave the workspace or remove themselves until they transfer ownership. Nor can they delete their account while they own a workspace with other members (see Deleting your account).

Removing and leaving

  • The owner removes a member with Remove. The member loses access immediately; what they set up stays.
  • A member leaves on their own with Leave.

The number of members is not limited by plan.
